Marrianne R. Yeager

Marrianne R. Yeager, age 75 of Faribault, MN, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024 at the Northfield Hospital.

Marrianne Renae, the daughter of Ora and Anna (McCormick) Davis, was born on March 18, 1949 in Dunning, NE. Marrianne grew up in Dunning, NE and graduated from Halsey-Dunning Nebraska High School Sandhills Public School with the Class of 1969. She was united in marriage to Roger Yeager on March 23, 1973 in Minneapolis, MN. Marrianne worked as a caregiver/CNA at numerous group homes and nursing homes. She truly loved taking care of people, one resident would always tell her “Girly Girly whatever you do, don’t ever get old”, she loved her. She retired in 1985 and her and Roger settled in Faribault. She was a movie enthusiast, she loved eating out, going for drives, she enjoyed collecting many pieces of artwork, glassware, lighthouses windmills, and Betty Boop and she was the keeper of many family stories passed down to her from her grandma.

Marrianne is survived by her sister, Donna (Jim) Knudsen; sister-in-law, Erma Davis; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roger; sisters, Lila (Bob) Cotten, Lucille (Ray) Reid, and Carol Davis; brothers, Mike Davis and Frank (Jean) Davis; and brother-in-law, Earl Fowler.

Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home, with Bernadette Tatge officiating. Interment will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.

Visitation will be held from 10:30 to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
