Marlene L. Miller, age 72 of Faribault, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at her home.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, May 15, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault.
Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home on Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 pm and on Monday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 am.
Marlene Louise, the daughter of Milton and Lillian (Chambers) Tiegs, was born on September 29, 1944 in LeSueur, MN. She attended LeSueur High School and graduated with the class of 1962. On September 20, 1991 she was united in marriage to Brian Miller. Brian preceded her in death on Oct. 27, 2001. Marlene began her working career at Gopher Sports in Owatonna and then was the office manager at the Faribault Culligan for 19 years until her retirement in 2016. Marlene enjoyed quilting, cheering for the Minnesota Vikings, spending time with her family and enjoying the outdoor wild life at her home.
She is survived by her children, Karen (Will) Wagner of LeSueur, MN and Corey (Angie) Andresen of Owatonna, MN; by six grandchildren, Ashley Andresen, Michelle Andresen, Sally Fiest, Molly Fiest, Sydney Andresen and Brian Andresen; by her step children, Sherri (Michael) Venero of Norwood Young America, MN, Christine Miller of Rochester, MN and David Miller of Mankato, MN; by her sister, Marcia Tiegs of Shakopee, MN and by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Christa Andresen and sister, Margo Severson.
