Mark Stelter

Mark E. Stelter, age 50 of Brainerd, MN and formerly of Faribault, MN, died unexpectedly on Monday, June 12, 2017 at the United Hospital in St. Paul, MN following a sudden illness.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 6:30 pm at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault, with Bernadette Tatge, Pastoral Minister, officiating. Private family interment will be held at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Shieldsville, MN.

Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home on Thursday from 4:00 to 6:30 pm.

Mark Earl, the son of Gordon and Rita (Walkowiak) Stelter, was born on November 20, 1966 in Faribault, MN. Mark attended Faribault Senior High School and graduated with the class of 1985. Following high school Mark worked as a Masonry and in 1990 would move to the Brainerd, MN area and continued the Masonry trade. He also worked at Pierz Marine, the water department for the city of Breezy Point and most recently worked at Phil's Quality Vending. Mark enjoyed snowmobiling, riding his motorcycle and spending time on the lake fishing.

He is survived by his parents, Gordon and Rita Stelter of Faribault, MN; by two brothers, Tom (Ginny) Stelter of Hinckley, MN and their children, Joshua and Carlee Stelter and Bruce Stelter and special friend, Penne Swenson of Burnsville, MN; by his special friend, Diane Johnson of Brainerd, MN and by other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
