Marie E. Brady, age 77, of Faribault, MN, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2024, at the Emeralds of Faribault.

Marie Eileen was born on February 19, 1947, in Faribault, the daughter of Donald and Barbara “Daisy” (Baggenstoss) Donkers. She graduated from Faribault High School and completed her nurse’s training at St. Lucas Hospital in Faribault. Later she completed her schooling to be a Registered Nurse at Dakota County Community College. Marie worked her entire career in the emergency department at Rice County District One Hospital in Faribault, retiring as charge nurse. She was married to Dale Brady in 1964. He preceded her in death in 2017.

She is survived by two sons, Shannon Brady (Shelley), and Michael Brady (Cari); four grandchildren, Henry Brady (Mary), Jacob Brady (Miranda), Joshua Brady, and Jade Brady; four great grandchildren, Andrea, Gracie, Harrison, and Sally; seven siblings, Joan Dotterweich (Richard), Robert Donkers, Roxanne Higgins, Jeffrey Donkers, Margaret Gonzalez (Mario), Larry Donkers (Dana), and Vernon Donkers; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale; and her parents, Donald and Daisy.

Memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N., Faribault.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America (MSAA) in memory of Marie.
