Margaret "Peggy" Taylor, age 77, of Mankato died on October 16, 2014 at Colony Court Assisted Living in Waseca following an extended illness.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, October 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at McRaith Funeral Home & Crematory in Waseca.
Peggy, daughter of Norbert and Marie (Walker) Sheeran, was born on September 2, 1937 in Waseca. She attended and graduated from Waseca High School. She was a waitress for many years, but most recently, she ran the carousel at the River Hills Mall in Mankato. Peggy was married and later widowed. She enjoyed watching sports and cross stitching baby quilts.
Peggy is survived by her children, Barb Kaasa of St. Paul and Ben Ward of North Mankato; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 3 sisters; 3 brothers; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald Taylor; her daughter, Shelly Ward; one sister; and by one brother.
