Margaret Reuvers

Margaret A. "Marge" Reuvers, age 78, of Faribault, MN, passed away unexpectedly on August 29, 2018 at the Methodist Hospital in Rochester, MN.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive in Faribault, with Fr. Kevin Kenney, officiating. Interment will be held at the St. Lawrence Cemetery, Faribault.

Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N., Faribault, on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and at the church on Tuesday for one hour prior to services.

Margaret Ann, the daughter of James and Ann (Nuffer) Baker, was born on April 1, 1940 in Pipestone, MN. She attended Edgerton High School and graduated with the class of 1958. Following high school she attended St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN. On November 5, 1960 she was united in marriage to Gerald "Jerry" Reuvers at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Faribault. Marge worked for many years at the Faribault Regional Center as a Rec Therapist and also as an assistant group supervisor until she had to stop working for health reasons. Marge enjoyed fishing and spending time up north at their cabin. She loved nature and particularly enjoyed butterflies and hummingbirds. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the V.F.W. and American Legion Auxiliaries.

Marge is survived by her husband Jerry Reuvers of Faribault, MN; by; two children, Terry (Lisa) Reuvers of Maple Grove, MN and Tami (Greg) Schweisthal of Faribault, MN; by four grandchildren, Paul (Jill) Schweisthal, Alyssa (Jon) Carpenter, Tony (Kayle) Reuvers and Matt Reuvers; by three great grandchildren, Marcus and Lucas Schweisthal and Charlie Carpenter; by her sister, Lynn (Kim) Harrier of Olivia, MN; by brother and sister-in-laws, Janet Miller (special friend, Mike), Joyce (Bruce) Crandall, Betty (Gene) Berge, Dan (Barb) Reuvers, Joan (George) Delaske, Roxie (Ron) Mitchell, Steven Reuvers, Jackie (Peter) Gretz and Therese "Tess" (Gary) Miller, Steve Drevlow and by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Robert Baker, sister-in-law, Jane Drevlow and by two brothers-in-law, John "Doc" Reuvers and Thomas Miller.
