Margaret Gravelin

Margaret G. Gravelin, age 98, of Faribault, died Thursday, May 20, 2010 at the Pleasant Manor Nursing Home in Faribault.             Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 24, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault, with Christine Sorensen, pastoral minister of Divine Mercy Catholic Church, officiating. Interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Faribault.             Visitation will be held on Monday from 1:30 - 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.             Margaret Geneva Gravelin, the daughter of Sylvester and Alexina (Morisette) Gravelin, was born on April 28, 1912 in Concordia, KS. She graduated from St. Mary's High School in Sleepy Eye, MN. Margaret worked as a bookkeeper for many years with Commander Elevator in Faribault. She also at one time worked as an election judge in Faribault. Margaret enjoyed her birds and traveling to many different locations with her sister, Gladys.             She is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.             She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Malvern, Wilfred, Ernest, Archie, and Earl Gravelin; sister, Gladys O'Hehir; and a sister in infancy.
