Mardelle Walderon

Mardelle M. Walderon, age 72, of Faribault, MN passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at the Pleasant Manor Nursing Home in Faribault.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N., Faribault, with Bernadette Tatge, pastoral minister of Divine Mercy Church, officiating.  Interment will be at the St. Lawrence Cemetery in Faribault.

Memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mardelle Marie was born on July 7, 1946 in Faribault to Ben and Evelyn (Moravec) Walderon.  She graduated from Faribault High School with the class of 1964.  She also attended two years at the Faribault Vo-Tech.  Mardi was an exceptional artist.  She worked as a commercial and design artist for Gopher Sport.  She enjoyed playing cards, cooking, baking and sewing.  Mardi was always making crafts of many varieties and giving them as gifts to many.

She is survived by her son, Jesse (Rhonda) Walderon of Owatonna, MN; two grandchildren, Trace and Garrett Walderon; sister, Jean (Bill) Weierke of Farmington, MN; brother, Len (Doreen) Walderon of Randall, MN; nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Evelyn; step-father, James Paquette; nephew, Lance Weierke and niece, Jackie Ahlman.
