Mae Olive Frank, age 92 of Mankato, formerly of rural Eagle Lake, died on Sunday, September 26, 2010 at Oaklawn Health Care Center in Mankato. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 1st at 10:00 a.m. at Salem Lutheran Church in Eagle Lake with Rev. Norman Greve officiating. Interment will be in the Eagle Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 30th from 4 to 8 p.m. at Arnoldt-McRaith Funeral Home and Crematory in Janesville and will continue on Friday morning for one hour prior to services at church. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred. Mae Olive was born on December 2, 1917 in Hawley, Minnesota to Sherman and Olive (Hennager) Bromeling. She attended country school in the Hawley area until 8th grade. On September 23, 1936 she was united in marriage to Delmer D. Frank at Bethany Chapel in Mankato. Mae and Delmer raised their family on their LeRay Township farm. She was employed by Immanuel Hospital in Mankato as a nurse's aid for 10 years as well as being a homemaker. In her later years Mae moved into Mankato. She was a Lifetime member of Salem Lutheran Church in Eagle Lake. She enjoyed camping, traveling and crocheting. Mae thoroughly enjoyed time spent with her family especially her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She is survived by her children; Darla (Greg) Foley of New Brighton, Dwight Frank of Eagle Lake, Mark (Diane) Frank of Eagle Lake, Tim (Pat) Frank of Rosco, IL, Lonnie (Anne) Frank of Eagle Lake, Kris (Tom) Schreiber of Pea Ridge, AR. and Kim (Darwin) Rogers of Mankato; by 17 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; by many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Delmer in 1983.
