Lynne Graves

Lynne A. Graves, age 57, of Palisade, MN and formerly of Faribault, died unexpectedly on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at her home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive, in Faribault. Interment will be held at the Maple Lawn Cemetery, Faribault.

Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday for one hour prior to services.

Lynne Ann, the daughter of Jerome and Leatrice (Edel) Malecha, was born on August 17, 1958 in New Prague, MN. She attended Bethlehem Academy High School and graduated with the class of 1976. On September 17, 1977 she was united in marriage to Jeffrey Graves at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Faribault. Lynne attended South Central Technical College twice over her working career and earned degrees in Mechanical Drafting and Micro Computer Support. Lynne was a department coordinator at Blount Corporation in Owatonna and later worked as an Area Coordinator for Josten's. In 2008 they moved to Palisade, MN and Lynne worked for the State of Minnesota Department of Agriculture trapping Gypsy Moths and the Palisade CO-OP. Most recently she was the Administrator at the Holy Family Catholic Church in McGregor, MN. Lynne cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was always in contact and ready to help. While living in Faribault, Lynne was the Regent for the Daughters of Isabella and a member of the Divine Mercy Catholic Church CCW. She loved being outdoors taking in nature, watching birds, fishing and played a very competitive game of cribbage. She also enjoyed her pen pal group and their sending of letters and gifts to one another.

She is survived by her husband Jeff of Palisade, MN; by her daughter, Amanda (Don Jr.) Jensen of Faribault, MN; by two grandsons, Wyatt and Derek Jensen and by a granddaughter on the way; by her mother, Leatrice Malecha of Faribault, MN; by her siblings, Luverne (Carla) Malecha of Faribault, MN, Lyle (Christine) Malecha of Prior Lake, MN and Lisa (Eric) Creger of Burnsville, MN and by other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jerome Malecha and three siblings, Linda Ann Malecha and two infants at birth.
