Lynn Johnson

Lynn Elizabeth Johnson was born on October 17, 1940 to Harold and Elizabeth (Miller) Johnson in Lake City, MN.  She was an only child.  Lynn died on November 10, 2018 at her home in Faribault, surrounded by those who loved and cared for her throughout her battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Lynn lived at the Park Avenue MSOCS home since 1994.  She worked at Cannon River Enterprises (now Faribault Community Resources) and the Rice County Day Activity Center for many years before retiring in 2016.  She enjoyed visiting with friends and family, watching channel 4, following the Vikings and the Twins, and ensuring that she always was informed of local happenings.  Lynn loved pontooning, fresh brewed coffee made by her favorite staff, and taking long drives around the lake (in the front seat!)

Lynn was preceded in death by both her parents.  She will be interred with her parents in Lake City, MN.  She is survived by her favorite cousins, Beverly Stoutenberg (of Texas), Phyllis Burritt and Vicky Jared (both of California).
