Luke Oaks

Luke A. Oaks, age 32 of Faribault, MN and formerly of St. Paul, MN passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 following an extended illness.

Luke Andrew, the son of James and Kathy (Kaysen) Oaks was born on December 8, 1988 in St. Paul, MN.  He attended high school in St. Paul. After high school Luke worked in sales at Walmart in the electronics department. He was a big gamer and enjoyed competing against others online. Luke loved to draw and wrote a book of poems.  His favorite vacation place was St. George’s Island in Florida. He loved the ocean and enjoyed watching it and being in it. Over the years he lived in St. Paul, North Branch and Faribault.

He is survived by his parents, James (Robin) Oaks of Faribault and Kathy Oaks of Eagan, MN; by his siblings, John Oaks, Mathew Oaks and Grace Oaks; by his step siblings, Chris Anderson and Becca Anderson; by his step grandmother, Patricia Moser of St. Paul and by other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Dolores Oaks and Jack and Jan Kaysen.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault with Rev. Nathan Black, Allina Hospice Chaplain officiating.

Memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
