Lola M. Schulz, age 92, of Faribault, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2009 at the Faribault Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.    Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church in Faribault, with Fr. Fernando Ortega, associate pastor, officiating. Interment will be at the Wanda Cemetery in Wanda, MN.    Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. and on Thursday for one hour prior to the services at the church.    Lola Mae Larsen, the daughter of Christian and Maggie (Albertson) Larsen, was born on May 9, 1917 in rural Lamberton, MN. She was married to Ervin Kretsch on September 9, 1932. They had four children, James, Donald, Arlene, and Mary Jane. Ervin preceded her in death on October 22, 1942. She later married Rudolph Simon on November 20, 1945. They had two children, Thomas and Michael. Lola worked at a nursing home near Lamberton prior to moving to Faribault in 1961. In Faribault she worked at the State Schools for 17 years. Rudolph preceded her in death on May 6, 1967. She later married Len Walter on September 25, 1971 and he passed away two years later on September 7, 1973. She married Lester Schulz on May 1, 1982 and he preceded her in death on September 13, 2000. Lola enjoyed her flower and vegetable gardens, baking sweets, and playing cards. She was a member of the Faribault Aerie 1460 Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary.    She is survived by five children, James (Carol) Kretsch of Lamberton, MN, Donald (Rosemary) Kretsch of Hutchinson, MN, Arlene Snoyenbos of Arcadia, WI, Michael (Susan) Simon of Athens, GA, and Tom Simon of Faribault; step sons, Ray (Joann) Schulz and Russ (JoEllen) Schulz, both of Faribault; many grandchildren, step grandchildren, great grandchildren and step great grandchildren; two sisters, Eloise Kretsch of Redwood Falls, MN, and Mildred Norcutt of Lucan, MN; and other relatives and friends.    She was preceded in death by her husbands; parents; daughter, Mary Jane Detlefsen; brother, Leslie Larsen; six sisters, Ethel Seibert, Mae Lensing, Christine Blum, Garnet Struckman, Margaret Houk, and Dagmar Dagner; and grandson, Steven Kretsch.    Memorials may be directed to Divine Mercy Catholic Church or the choice of the donor in memory of Lola.
