Linda Sargent

Linda L. Sargent, age 68, of Faribault, MN, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2020 at the Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis following an extended illness.

Private family memorial services will be held on Friday, May 15, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory and will be live streamed on the Parker Kohl Funeral Home website, www.ParkerKohlFuneralHome.com. Interment will be at the Maple Lawn Cemetery in Faribault.

Linda Lee, the daughter of Ruth (Fredenburg) Sargent, was born on December 5, 1951 in Northfield, MN. Following high school, Linda lived and worked in many different places before uniting in marriage with Frank Linaman and having three children. They were later divorced. Linda spent much of her career working for the state of Minnesota as a rest area custodian. When she was not working, Linda loved spending time at the casino, baking, cooking, and being with her family. Later, she met the love of her life, “Harley Charlie” Grassinger, and spent much of her time riding motorcycles with him.

She is survived by her children, Tammy (Jay) Schreck of Faribault, Thomas (Becky) Linaman of Osseo, WI, and Tracy (Rick) Maas of Faribault; grandchildren, Amber Loesch and Carl Schreck, Shana (Mitch) Bradford, Amanda (Jake) Mackie, Kyra (Dan) White, and Norma Jean Ellenberger, and Stephanie Linaman, Samantha Davila, Jordan Maas, and Jayme Maas; and great grandchildren, Brooklynn, Finnley, Carmen, Kyli, Lilly, Kasey, Calvin, Elsie, Frankie, Keanna, and Remi; brother, Larry (Joy) Sargent; sister in law, Lori Sargent; and brothers-in-law, Dale Brayton and Dick Moravec; and other nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her former husband, Frank Linaman; mother, Ruth; siblings, Gertrude Moravec, Judith Jones, Mary Brayton, and Donald Sargent; and the love of her life, “Harley Charlie” Grassinger.
