Linda Miller

Linda G. Miller, age 73 of Kenyon, MN passed away unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, June 10, 2020.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at The River Community Church in Faribault, MN with Pastor Steve Crombie officiating.

Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Arrangements are being completed by the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault.

Linda Gail, the daughter of Vernard and Nora (Ekwortzell) Gilmer was born on January 20, 1947 in St. Cloud, MN.  She attended Mora High School and graduated with the class of 1965.  On June 10, 1966 she was united in marriage to Gene Miller in Sisseton, SD.  After their marriage they lived in different communities including, Northfield, Faribault and Kenyon.  Gene preceded her in death on January 18, 2019.  Linda worked at the Faribault Clinic for many years and for the past 23 years she was in property management for Space Management.  Linda enjoyed making quilts and made many for all of her family.  She also enjoyed her horses, going on vacation, clip-boarding, baking, trips to the casino, antiquing, snowmobiling, working in her flower beds which she took great pride in and especially spending time with all of her family.

She is survived by her children, Scott Miller of Dennison, MN and Kimberly (Brad) Johnson of Faribault; by her grandchildren, Brian (Nichole) Miller, Shauna (Daniel) Limon, Chelsea (Jose) Morales, Dylan Miller and TJ Bennington and 15 great grandchildren; by her siblings, Jane Halvorsen, Dorothy (Lenny) Dziuk, Pat (Pete) Zwilling and Darrell (Jan) Gilmer and by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers, Myron and Dennis Gilmer.
