Lillian "Gramma" Hart, age 99, of Faribault, died on Friday, July 18, 2008, at her daughter's home. Private family services will be held on Monday, July 21, 2008 at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault, with Bernadette Tatge, pastoral minister of Divine Mercy Catholic Church, officiating. Interment will be at the St. Lawrence Cemetery in Faribault. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Lillian Catherine Prehall, the daughter of William and Elizabeth (Friedges) Prehall, was born on October 12, 1908 in Prior Lake, MN. She graduated from high school and attended college for two years. She was married to William Hart in 1935 in Sioux Falls, SD. They had lived in Chisholm for over 30 years where they operated a food and liquor business. They moved to the Faribault area in 1963 and operated the Trading Post and Antique Shop until 1974. William preceded her in death on April 1, 1978. Lillian loved her grandchildren, was a great cook, and enjoyed garage sales. She was a great lover of animals, taking care of cats and dogs and many wild animals that needed care. She is survived by her daughter, Maureen Nelson (and Ken Hruby) of Faribault; three granddaughters, Elizabeth Nelson (and Tom Silkey), Dicie Nelson, and Heidi Perry (and Alan); great grandchildren, Steven Nelson, Robert Silkey, and Sharon Ring; special caregiver, Delores Hruby; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; daughter, Colleen Quast; three brothers, William, Francis, and Elmer Prehall; and son-in-law, Steven Nelson.
