Lee S. Dahle, age 82 of Waseca, died on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at the Homestead Hospice House in Owatonna. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 14th at 1:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca with Fr. Martin Schaefer, Celebrant. Interment will follow in Waseca's Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday morning from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at McRaith Funeral Home & Crematory of Waseca, and will continue at Sacred Heart Church from 12:00 noon until the hour of service. Lee Seim was born on March 2, 1930 in Waseca County, Minnesota to Omar and Minnie (Kalbek) Dahle. He graduated from Waseca Central High School. Lee served in the United States Navy during the Korean War from December of 1950 until his honorable discharge in September of 1954. He was united in marriage to Angie Poehler on November 25, 1953 in Waterville, Minnesota. Over the years Lee farmed, and later worked as a salesman for Modern Woodmen of America Insurance Company. He was a longtime member of the Waseca VFW Post 1642. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Angie of Waseca; by his children, Marsha Lundgren of Bloomington, Gary Dahle of Waseca, and Joan Dahle of Bloomington; by his granddaughters, Carrie Dahle of Waseca and Bethany (Dan) Madlo of Maple Grove, and his great granddaughter, Lillian Dahle of Waseca. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Orrin, Armin, Mark, Kenneth, and his sister, Gloria Dahle; by his son-in-law David Lundgren.
