Lawrence "Larry" E. Schaaf

Lawrence “Larry” E. Schaaf age 55 of Faribault, MN died on Monday, June 5, 2023 at the Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis following a sudden illness.

Lawrence Edward, the son of Lawrence P. and Mary Lou (Vellieux) Schaaf was born on March 24, 1968 in St. Paul, MN.  He attended LeSueur High School. Larry worked at different construction companies and most recently had been working as a plasterer.  Larry was an amazing Dad and was always there when you needed him.  He was a true and loyal friend.  He enjoyed chocolate, riding Harley’s, going up north fishing and hunting and was involved in boxing growing up and loved playing pool.

He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Schaaf of Rochester, MN; by his son, Justin Berndt of Waterville, MN; by his parents, Lawrence and Mary Lou Schaaf of Faribault; by his sister, Jolyene Schaaf and Janice Clark and other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother David Clark.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church in Faribault.  Interment will be held at the Maple Lawn Cemetery, Faribault.

Memorial visitation will be held at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church on Thursday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
