Laura J. Daily

Laura J. Daily, age 58, of Faribault, MN, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2024, following injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Laura Jean the daughter of Gene and Marlys (Caron) Vierling, was born on October 27, 1966, in Faribault. She graduated from Bethlehem Academy High School with the class of 1985, and South Central College. She was united in marriage to Robert Wayne Daily Sr. on October 3, 1998. Laura worked for over 22 years at the Northfield Hospital in medical records, and most recently as a para-professional at Lincoln Elementary in Faribault, helping kids with special needs. Laura cherished being a grandma, she absolutely loved being with her grandchildren and supporting them at all their activities. She loved her pets and animals, enjoyed crocheting and reading Stephen King books, and celebrating Christmas. Laura and Bob enjoyed 4x4 off road trucking, riding their Harley Davidson, and each October for their anniversary taking a car ride to unknown destinations for a vacation. Laura would always be there to help others, putting them before herself.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Wayne Daily Sr.; children, Robert Wayne Daily Jr. (Cynthia), Steven Laurence Daily, Anthony Michael Daily (Sara), and Brianna Ashlynn Daily (Erin Charles); grandchildren, Jaycen Daily, Chevelle Daily, RJ Daily, Ja'vonni Charles, Claire Daily, Maeve Daily, Emma Daily, and newly born Charles’ twins; her mother, Marlys Vierling; brother, Donavan Vierling; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Ashlea Mariah Daily and her grandmother, Helen Caron.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive, Faribault. Interment will be at the Maple Lawn Cemetery in Faribault.

Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N. Faribault, on Thursday, January 9th, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at the church.
