Larry would like you to know he has moved to a new location. He had an intense battle with a nefarious criminal named dementia who has plagued our society for too long. His trial ended on March 31, 2018 supported by close family members at his bedside. He returned to his Father and is now residing at his heavenly home. The week of his death the skies were mostly gray. When he passed the sun broke through; skies were blue and friendly clouds shone through.
Friends, and acquaintances knew Larry as being kind, helpful and mild-mannered. Family knew him as patient, loving and fun to be with. Larry and his wife were true and faithful friends since age of 16. He enjoyed traveling to spend time with family, repairing any thing mostly with wheels, Fireside apple orchard, fishing, sport car races and he appreciated nature. For many years he was the service manager and mechanic/problem solver for Matejcek Implement.
In lieu of flowers, please have your farm equipment tuned up, donate to the Ascera Care Hospice, and Alzheimer Association. Do what's right and do what's good. Be considerate and help others. The world can make room for more kind persons. And, if you can take it a step further, do it especially for our elderly. Larry would like that.
God gifted us with this wonderful gentleman. Our family was blessed to have him in our lives. Although absent from our presence in our hearts he rests enshrined. He lives forever. To believers, death is not a blind alley leading into a state of nothingness.
A celebration of Larry's life for close family and friends will be held at Parker Kohl Funeral Home at a later date.
