LaJune Rose Hall, age 82 of Waseca, passed away gracefully, surrounded by her family and close friends on Monday, July 23, 2012 at Mayo Health System-Waseca. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 27th at 10:30 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca with Fr. Martin Schaefer and Fr. John Kunz, Concelebrants. Interment will be in Waseca's Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 26th from 4 to 7 P.M. at McRaith Funeral Home & Crematory in Waseca, and will continue on Friday morning one hour prior to service, at church. LaJune was born November 23, 1929 in St. Peter, Minnesota to Gerald "Red" and Rose (Amberg) McCabe. She attended John Ireland Catholic School in St. Peter and in 1947 graduated from St. Peter High School. LaJune was taught at an early age the value of hard work, as she worked in her father's bakery in St. Peter. She was united in marriage to Harvey Kenyon Hall on April 25, 1953 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in St. Peter. LaJune and Harvey started their married life in Waseca, raising their 2 boys at their home across from Loon Lake. LaJune enjoyed her many years working for attorney Daniel Gallagher, and Gallagher & Madden in Waseca. In her later years she was employed with E.F. Johnson Company, and at Itron. She was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca, and also served as a member of the local Civil Air Patrol. At the center of her life was her love of family. She was selfless in her devotion as a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. LaJune and her entire family are very grateful for the loving care provided to her by Dr. Christopher Schimming, and all the nurses at Mayo Health System-Waseca. She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey (Kathy) Hall of San Ramon, CA, and Randy Hall of Hartland; four grandchildren, Michelle Hall of San Francisco, Jerry Hall, Angela Hall, and Meg Hall, all of the Twin Cities area; two great grandchildren, Hannah Hall and Torin Hall; brother, Gerald McCabe of Shakopee, and her sister, Rose Skramstad of Prescott, WI; sisters-in-law, Dorothy McCabe of St. Peter, and Helen (Burt) Anderson of Waseca; many nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harvey on August 11, 1972; siblings, Cyril "Cy" (Armstrong) McCabe, Evelyn "Ev" (Robert) Welch, Delores "Cobbie" (Forrest) Ashcraft, and Yvonne "Tonnie" (Donald) Heilman; nephew, Robert "Bobby" Welch; great nephews, Troy Nielsen and Tyler Heilman; brothers-in-law, Everett (Jessie) Hall, Elliott (Iva) Hall, Jack (Connie) Hall, and Harriet (Edward) Rennie, and long time companion, Harvey Wilker.
