Ladonna Dallmann

LaDonna V. Dallmann, age 93, of Faribault, died Monday, June 22, 2009 at the St. Lucas Care Center in Faribault.             Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 26, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at the First English Lutheran Church in Faribault, with Rev. Richard L. Jorgensen, pastor, officiating. Interment will be at the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park in Faribault.             Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Friday for one hour prior to the services at the church. The Faribault Eagles Auxiliary will conduct a memorial service on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.             LaDonna Virginia Cambronne, the daughter of Ernest and Mary (Nasman) Cambronne, was born on February 21, 1916 in rural St. James, MN. She graduated from Lamberton High School in 1934. She then received her Normal Teachers Training and taught for two years in rural Redwood County. She was married to Ervin A. Dallmann on December 23, 1936 at the Germantown United Brethren Church in Lamberton. He preceded her in death on March 18, 1982. They farmed for many years in Lamberton, Walnut Grove, and in Iroquois, South Dakota before moving to Faribault in 1956. LaDonna taught sewing at the Singer Sewing Center and then was a seamstress for 22 years for the Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf. LaDonna loved sewing and volunteer work at the Clothes Closet. She sewed quilts and made Raggedy Ann dolls for her grandchildren. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Faribault Aerie 1460 Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary and an active member of First English Lutheran Church WELCA.             She is survived by four children, Dorene (Eugene) Trahan and Marlene (Gordon) Bauer, both of Faribault, Delores (Donald) Widstrom of Hecla, SD, and Dennis (Corrine) Dallmann of Faribault, MN; 13 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Thelma Cambronne of Huron, SD; and many other relatives and friends.             She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; three brothers, Graydon, Donald, and Rodney Cambronne; sister, Eileen Werner; and granddaughter, Leslie Ann Bauer.             The family would like to thank St. Lucas Care Center for their excellent care given to their mother.             Memorials may be directed to the First English Radio Club or WELCA.
