Kenneth W. Kenyon, age 93, originally of Eagle Lake, MN, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2015, at the Keystone Communities of Mankato, MN.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church in Madison Lake, MN, with Fr. Robert Schneider, pastor, officiating. Interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Madison Lake, with military honors provided by the Madison Lake American Legion Post 269.
Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. and on Thursday for one hour prior to the services at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to All Saints Catholic Church or the American Cancer Society.

Kenneth Walter was born on November 27, 1921 in LeRay Township, Blue Earth County, MN to Benjamin and Luella (Borneke) Kenyon. He attended country school and later served in the U.S. Army during WWII from 1944-1946. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Ehmke on September 15, 1945. Ken worked at Archer Daniels Co. from 1951-1962, then for Hubbard Mill Co. in Mankato from 1962-1984. He and Dorothy raised their family of eight children on a hobby farm in rural Eagle Lake. Ken enjoyed his vegetable garden, playing horseshoes and cards, refurbishing tractors, watching the Twins and playing ball, and he loved to dance. Ken was a very giving person often helping others at a time of need. He was a member of the Madison Lake American Legion Post 269.
He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Kenyon of Mankato; children, Rita Kenyon of Mankato, Myra (Gail) Cowdin of Janesville, Richard Kenyon of Phoenix, AZ, Jan Kenyon-Yenish of Lakeville, MN, Marla (Mark) Westphal of Janesville, Jenise (James) Seewald of Waseca, MN, Dean Kenyon of Dallas, TX, and Keith (Laurie) Kenyon of Rollingstone, MN; 18 grandchildren, Dawn, Brent, Corey, Sara, Paul, Theresa, Elizabeth, Jason, Clint, Dylan, Tenia, Alicia, Lucas, Nicole, Cameron, Jonah, Jacob, and Caleb; 22 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Harold and Melvin Kenyon; and sister, Violet Daschner.
