Keith John Malterer, 53, of Janesville, MN, passed away peacefully with his family and friends by his side at his home in Janesville, MN on August 2, 2016.
A private memorial services will be held on Friday August 5, 2016 at McRaith Funeral Home in Waseca, MN with Father Gregory Leif of Sacred Heart Church officiating.
Keith was born in Mankato, MN to Robert Sr. and Jane (Farley) Malterer on October 17, 1962. He graduated from Waseca High School in 1981. He married Susan Schwardt on July 12, 1986. He enjoyed spending time with his family, farming, participating in motor sports and aviation.
Keith is preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Keith is survived by his spouse Susan Malterer. Children: David and wife Stephanie Malterer, Brittany Malterer and fiancé Zach Hinrichs. Siblings: Randall and wife Jeannette Malterer, Kevin Malterer and Debra Denn, Dawn and husband Bruce Barrie, Robert Jr. and wife Debra Malterer. Parents: Robert Sr. and Jane Malterer. Grandchildren: Liam, Aurora, and Phoenix nicknamed "Indy" Malterer and many nieces and nephews. Special friends: Maynard and Jacob.
The family of Keith wishes to extend our sincere thanks to hospice for helping in his peaceful transition to heaven.
