Kathleen Wolf

Kathleen A. “Katie” Wolf, age 64 of Faribault, MN, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN following a sudden illness.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N. in Faribault with Fr. Henry Doyle officiating.  Interment will be held at St. Lawrence Cemetery, Faribault.

Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home on Thursday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Kathleen Ann, the daughter of Wesley and Dorothy (Wasson) Sorenson, was born on August 23, 1954 in St. Paul, MN.  She attended St. Paul Murray High School and graduated with the class of 1972.  On October 23, 1989 she was united in marriage to James “Jim” Wolf in Faribault.  Katie worked at various businesses in Faribault including District One Hospital and most recently as a designer at Glass Garden Beads.  She loved spending time with her family and friends, but especially loved time with her grandchildren.  She also enjoyed beading, crafts, gardening, cooking and her coffee.

She is survived by her husband James “Jim” Wolf of Faribault; by three children, Dr. Melanie (Steve) Chihak of Moorhead, MN and their son, Declan, Stephen “Steve” Lamprecht (Camille Chasteen) of St. Paul, MN and his daughter, Abbey Patnaude and Eric Wolf of Faribault and his children, Natalie, Leah and Kyle; by her daughter-in-law, Stacy Wolf of LeCenter, MN; by her sister, June (Richard) Zahradka of Isle, MN and by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Wayne Sorenson.
