Kathleen Lang

Kathleen F. Lang, age 88 of Faribault, MN, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at her home following an extended illness.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N. in Faribault with Bernadette Tatge, Pastoral Minister at Divine Mercy Catholic Church officiating.

Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home.

Kathleen F., the daughter of Wallace and Kathleen (McGovern) Fleming, was born on February 15, 1930 in St. Paul, MN.  On February 14, 1953 she was united in marriage to John Lang at the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in St. Paul.  Kathy, GG & Grandma Lang was a saint here on earth!  Her 32 dedicated years of serving children will be remembered by many.  Chicken noodle soup & peanut butter crackers will surely bring a smile to your face!  Grandma Lang was a second mother to many children in the Faribault community.  Her legacy will live on in the hearts of many.  She was truly beautiful inside and out!

She is survived by her husband of over 65 years, John Lang of Faribault; by seven children, Mark (Gail) Lang of Charleston, SC, Kevin Lang, Faribault, David (Connie) Lang, Naperville, IL, John (Jamie) Lang, Red Wing, MN, William Lang, Long Beach, CA, Ruth Ann Lang, Faribault and Karen (Dale) Hauptli of Warsaw, MN; by 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; by her sister Mary Ann Quinlan of St. Paul, MN and by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, William and Thomas Fleming and by her sister, Florence Malone.
