Katherine A. "Kathy" DeMars

Katherine A. “Kathy” DeMars, age 75 of Faribault, MN passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024 in Sartell, MN.

Katherine Ann, the daughter of Sylvester and Marion (Peterson) Fiebiger was born on March 30,1948 in Faribault. She attended Faribault High School and graduated with the class of 1966. On November 24, 1966 she was united in marriage to Donald L. DeMars. Don preceded her in death on December 5, 2023. Kathy enjoyed cooking and serving the students as a career cook at the Faribault Senior High School.  After her retirement Kathy continued subbing in the school district because she adored the students so much.  At home, Kathy took great pride in managing the household as a loving spouse and parent.  She was a devoted and active member of the VFW Auxiliary and was involved with parades, raising money during the Poppy drive, and organizing events and programs.

She is survived by her son, Jay (Tammy) DeMars of Sartell, MN; by her grandson, Brandon Lindenfelser; by her brother, David (Annalise) Fiebiger and by other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
