Karma Sticha

Karma J. Sticha, age 83 of Faribault, MN passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church in Faribault with Fr. Cory Rolfing officiating.  Interment will be held at the Calvary Cemetery, Faribault.

Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Karma Joan, the daughter of Emil and Helen (Bailey) Mahagnoul was born on December 2, 1935 in Faribault.  She attended Bethlehem Academy High School and graduated with the class of 1954.  On October 25, 1955 she was united in marriage to Milton Sticha in Faribault.  Milt preceded her in death on March 25, 2017.  After their marriage Karma sold Avon products and Queens Way Fashion Clothing for many years.  Later she would start her own business, K & J Ceramics located in the same building as her husband Milt’s M&K Camper and Auto Sales business.  Later she drove a school bus route for Faribault Transportation and most recently was driving bus at Shattuck-St. Mary’s School.  Karma enjoyed flowers, gardening and always kept her flowers growing inside of her home as the seasons changed.  She was a collector and collected different figurines, Beanie Babies and NASCAR items amongst other items over the years.  She also enjoyed occasional trips to the casino with family and friends.

She is survived by her children, JoAnn (Steve) Caron of Faribault, John Sticha of Faribault and Tom (Deanna) Sticha of Owatonna; grandchildren, Lester (Toni) Caron of Faribault, Aric Caron of Faribault, Ashley (Joey) Blaisdell of Morristown, Marcus Sticha of Faribault, James Sticha of Mankato and Lorraine (Adam) O'Byrne of Waseca; seven great grandchildren; four step-grandchildren and by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and by her infant brother, Thomas Mahagnoul.
