Julie Cloutier Kolterman, age 61, of Faribault, died Monday, February 14, 2011 at the St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, following a sudden illness.    Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at the Cathedral of Our Merciful Saviour in Faribault, with the Very Reverend James Zotalis and Reverend Henry Doyle, officiating. Interment will be held at the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park in Faribault.    Visitation will be held on Friday at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. on Saturday before the services. A prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday night at the funeral home.       Julie Ann Elena Koutavas, the daughter of Mike & LaVonne (Harding) Koutavas, was born on July 1, 1949 in Faribault. She attended Bethlehem Academy and graduated with the class of 1967. After graduating, Julie continued her education at Mankato State University, where she studied nursing and psychology. She was united in marriage to James Cloutier in May of 1977. Julie worked at various places in Faribault including the Modern Bar and Grill, the Faribault Regional Center as a night supervisor and also owned and operated the Curve Bar for ten years. She enjoyed crocheting, spending time with her dogs, reading, flower gardening and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren, friends and family.     She is survived by her daughters, Gina (John) Schulz of Medford and Jessica (Wade) Kern of West Concord; four grandchildren, Dana Schulz, Steve Schulz, Tristen Kern and Sadie Kern; her mother, LaVonne Koutavas of Faribault; brother Dean Koutavas of Faribault; close friend, James Cloutier of Faribault and by other relatives and friends.     She was preceded in death by her son, Dion Arne; siblings, Elena Koutavas and John Koutavas; and by her father, Mike Koutavas.
