Julia A. Breyer, age 69, of Faribault, died Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at the Faribault Commons Care Center in Faribault.   Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, at St. Lawrence in Faribault with the Rev. Kevin Finnegan, pastor officiating. Interment will be held at the St. Lawrence Cemetery, Faribault.   Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault on Saturday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and at the church on Sunday for one hour prior to services. Parish prayers will be recited on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m.   Julia Ann Knopps, the daughter of John and Lucy (Bailey) Knopps, was born on August 2, 1939 in Ladysmith, WI. She attended Regis High School in Eau Claire, WI and graduated with the class of 1957. On May 6, 1961 she was united in marriage to Leo Breyer at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Faribault. Julia worked for over 20 years in the packaging department at Jerome Foods in Faribault. In retirement she enjoyed having coffee with her friends Wimpy's and at Bernie's Restaurant. Julia enjoyed her grandchildren and spending time with all of her family.   She is survived by her husband, Leo Breyer of Faribault; by three children, Brenda (Mike) McColley of Owatonna, Beverly (Mike) Eiler of Faribault and Patrick (Sakun) Breyer of Faribault; by 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild; by her former son in law, Jim Steffl of Faribault; by five brothers, Jacob (Mary Ann) Knopps of Missouri, Peter Knopps of Minneapolis, Ignatius Knopps of New London, MN, Michael (Karen) Knopps of Eau Claire, WI and Eric (Jean) Martilla of Wilmar, MN; by two sisters, Pauline Lang of Faribault and Therese (Donald) Knopps Erb of Spring Valley, WI and by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.   She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter, twin daughters, Tamera Marie and Darlene Rose, by a granddaughter, Jordan Michelle Eiler, by three brothers, Joseph and Thomas Knopps and Robert Knopps Berdan and by her sister, Kathleen Schneider.
