Judy Hatfield

Judy A. Hatfield, age 72 of Faribault, MN, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N., Faribault, with Bernadette Tatge, Pastoral Minister officiating.  Interment will be held at the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault.

Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home on Wednesday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m.

Judy Ann, the daughter of LaVerne and Frances (Giffen) Tousignant, was born on March 26, 1947 in Faribault.  She attended Bethlehem Academy High School and was a member of the class of 1965.  On October 10, 1965 she was united in marriage to William Hatfield at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.  Judy worked for 50 years as a Bookkeeper and Personnel Manager at Kmart.  Judy loved her family deeply and enjoyed being with them and going to their activities.  She also enjoyed playing cards and singing and dancing to live music.  She especially enjoyed listening and dancing to the Old Country Boys Band and they always dedicated a song to her, Sweet Caroline.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Bill Hatfield of Faribault; by her daughter, Jenny (Chad) Halvorson of Faribault; by two granddaughters, Hannah Halvorson and fiancé Blayne Sunstrom and Kaitlyn Halvorson; by four siblings, Don (Susan) Tousignant of Riverside, CA, Kathy (Ken) Sevcik, Steve (Sharon) Tousignant and Mark (Renee) Tousignant, all of Faribault and by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
