Judith Ann was born January 9, 1945 in Waseca, Minnesota to LaVern and Delores (Kabnick) Gasner. During her youth Judy's family resided in Waseca. They later moved to Medford where she attended Medford Schools. She was united in marriage to Harlan Roeker on December 30, 1961. Judy and Harlan raised their family and resided in Owatonna. They later divorced. Judy had a long career as a CNA and Physical Therapy Assistant at Cedarview Nursing Home in Owatonna. On August 28, 1993 she married Lynn A. Holthus at Grace Lutheran Church in Waseca. Judy and Lynn continued to reside in Owatonna, and in 1998 her diagnosis with M.S. forced her to retired from Cedarview Nursing Home. Judy enjoyed going to the casino, and family trips to the cabin on Eagle Lake near Brainerd. But her real passion was sewing quilts for family, friends, and anyone in need.
She is survived by her husband Lynn of Owatonna; children, Dale (Barb) Roeker, Roxanne (Jim) Harriman, Debra Roeker, and Ranae Roeker, all of Owatonna; step sons, Grant (Tara) Holthus of Maple Grove, and Kyle (Maria) Holthus of Osseo; grandchildren, Brian Roeker, Jeffery (Brittany) Harriman, Kendra Harriman, and Trisha Roeker; step grandchildren, Bree Holthus, Emerson Holthus, and Amelia Holthus; siblings, Darvin Gasner of Faribault, Joyce (Lee) Thompson of Columbia, MO, Galen Gasner of Rosemount, Bob (Mavis) Gasner of Owatonna, Janna Novak of Faribault, and Mark (Cozy) Peterson of Morristown, and by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
