Joyce M. Caron, age 66, of Faribault, MN, was born into eternal life April 25, 2015, at her home surrounded by her family, due to pancreatic cancer.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive, Faribault. Interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Faribault.
Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory in Faribault on Tuesday from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday for one hour prior to the services at the church.
Joyce Marie was born on August 20, 1948, in Faribault to Gerald and Lorraine (Tousignant) Stadler. She graduated from Faribault High School with the class of 1966. Joyce was united in marriage to Raymond Caron on October 1, 1966 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Faribault. She worked for 17 years as manager of the business office at Rice County Public Health. Following her retirement from Rice County, she assisted Ray managing their business of 45 years, Caron Fence. They both enjoyed traveling in their motorhome to many different areas of the country and were members of the Gopher Allegro Motorhome Group. Joyce volunteered for St. Vincent de Paul as their bookkeeper and was faithful in attendance at the Adoration Chapel. She loved to host her family for holidays and family gatherings, and most of all treasured her time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Raymond Caron of Faribault; children, Daniel Caron (fiancé, Dawn) of Medford, MN, Troy (Carol) Caron of Faribault, Carla (Brian) Ellendson of Faribault, Beth Caron (Kojo) of Maplewood, MN, Ryan Caron of Faribault, and Renee Caron of Faribault; grandchildren, Madeline Caron, Bryn and Carlie Caron, Hannah, Claire, Cole, Graham, Owen, Bridget, Elijah, Meredith, and Josephine Ellendson, Isaiah Caron, Emma Caron, and Grayson and Braxton Caron; siblings, Carol (Craig) Christoffersen of Woodbury, MN, JoAnn (Dan) Arrigoni of Minnetonka, MN, Barb (Tom) Lentz of St. Paul, MN, and Thomas (Elizabeth) Stadler of Eden Prairie, MN; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald Stadler and Lorraine Stadler Taylor; brother, Charlé, sister, Jeanette, and brother in infancy, James
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Vincent de Paul in memory of Joyce.
