Josephine L. Swenson

Josephine L. Swenson, age 80 of Faribault, MN passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at the Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN.

Josephine Lynn, the daughter of William and Lynnette (Soldow) Mueller was born on August 30, 1943 in St. Paul, MN.  On July 12, 1975 she was united in marriage to Per-Anders Swenson.  Josephine worked as an office manager for different manufacturing companies over her career.  Josephine was an active member of the women’s group at Trondhjem Lutheran Church in Lonsdale, MN.  She also enjoyed gardening, knitting and crocheting, reading, cooking, baking and canning.

She is survived by her husband Per-Anders Swenson of Faribault; by her daughter, Annastina (Jeremy) Barnes of Lonsdale, MN; by five grandchildren, Isaac Melcher, Chase Melcher, Cayden Barnes, Logan Barnes and Paisley Barnes; by her siblings, Jacque Masog (Esther Feske) and William (Debra) Mueller and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her older sister, Katherine Dodge.

Private services will be held for the family.
