Joseph Burke

Joseph M. “Joe” Burke, age 69 of Eagan, MN and formerly of Faribault, MN passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at the Hometown Senior Living in Eagan following an extended illness.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Our Place on Third Bar from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Interment will be held at the St. Lawrence Cemetery in Faribault at a later date.

Arrangements are being completed by the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault.

Joseph Michael, the son of Raymond and Rita (Pirkl) Burke was born on April 25, 1952 in Faribault.  He attended Faribault High School.  Joe worked at different businesses in Faribault and Albert Lea over the years.  He loved to do wood working and was a carpenter all of his life.  He enjoyed building decks, roofing, painting and playing the guitar.

He is survived by his siblings, Francis (Kathy) Burke of Jordan, MN, Caroline Thomas of Minneapolis, Marjorie (Harry) Johnson of Eatorville, WA, Kathleen Leppert of Faribault, Mary Anne (Kurt) Mueller of Forest Grove, OR and Darlene Hogsven and Ray Voegele of Faribault; by his niece and caregiver for the past 12 years, Lori (Bill) Wagner of Owatonna and by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Paul Burke.
