Jose R. Morales

Jose R. Morales, age 64, of Faribault and formerly of Texas, passed away November 20, 2024, at the Emeralds of Faribault.

Jose Rene was born on November 1, 1960, in Lubbock, TX, the son of Francisco Morales and Guadalupe Salazar Morales. He worked in the construction field, mostly concrete work. Jose lived most of his life in Texas, before moving to Faribault two years ago. He enjoyed drawing and watching western movies. Jose liked to spend most of his time enjoying the outdoors.

He is survived by his children, Erika Lee Torres, and Jose Rene Morales Jr.; their mother, Rolena Ratliff; his siblings, Jessie Morales, Danny Morales, David Morales, and Charlie Morales; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco Morales and Guadalupe Salazar Morales; brothers, Frank Morales and Rogelio “Roger” Moreno Jr.; and sister, Lisa Castillo.

Graveside services will be held at the St. Lawrence Cemetery in Faribault.
