John Pansier

John "Johnny" Pansier, age 85, of Faribault, died Friday, August 8, 2008 at the District One Hospital in Faribault, following a brief illness.             Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 11, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church at Sacred Heart in Faribault. Interment will be at the St. Lawrence Cemetery in Faribault.             Memorial visitation will be held on Monday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the church.             Arrangements are being completed with the Parker Kohl Funeral Home of Faribault.             John Francis Pansier, the son of John and Jacoba (Valentyn) Pansier, was born on May 5, 1923 in Faribault. John was raised on his family's farm in Walcott Township south of Faribault, where he farmed his entire lifetime.             He is survived by his sister, Harriet Karr of Faribault; sister-in-law, Lucy Pansier of Faribault; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.             He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Willis Pansier; and sister, Mathilda Friesen.
