John B. Lundell

John B. Lundell, age 60 of Faribault, MN passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at the Allina Health Faribault Medical Center following a brief illness.

John Jay, the son of John H. and Carol (Soine) Beckman, was born on November 9, 1964. He was adopted by John and Carol and grew up in Cannon Falls, MN and worked on the family dairy farm. He attended Cannon Falls High School. John worked as a supervisor at different production companies. While he wasn’t working, he enjoyed watching movies, true crime shows and taking care of his dogs. His family meant the world to him, and he loved spending time with them.

John is survived by his children, Ashley (Marcus Bates) Beckman, Ariel Alvarez, Nicholas Lundell, and Larissa Owen; grandchildren, Abby, Hayden, Autumn, Quinton, Matthew, and Aleigha; siblings, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his husband, Todd Lundell; parents, John H. and Carol. 

Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, February 17, 2025 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church with Pastor Drew Yackel officiating. Light refreshments will be served following the service.
