John Thomas Heselton was born on September 15, 1961 in Faribault, MN. He attended Bethlehem Academy in Faribault, working in the family construction business before and after graduation, earning him degrees in hard work and BS. On February 8, 1986, he married the love of his life, Suzanne Moreau, at the Cathedral of Our Merciful Saviour in Faribault. He continued to work in construction until his untimely death, and lived in innumerable ways.
John was, first and foremost, a loving father, husband, son and brother. His ageless spirit, agile mind and unshakeable integrity made him an archaeologist, a researcher, an explorer, a provider, a rock for family and friends, a numismatist, a lumber jack, a life-long learner, a source of laughter for anyone within hearing distance, and so much more than can ever be quantified. The greatness of John's spirit shows in every life that he has touched.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Suzanne Heselton of Faribault; by his four children, Hannah Heselton, Rabekah (T.J.) Mueller, John A. (Jay) Heselton, and Joshua Heselton, all of Faribault; by his granddaughter Karly Mueller of Faribault, his parents, John B. and Carol Heselton of Faribault, and his grandmother, Evangeline Silkey of Northfield, MN; by his siblings, Jeanne (Steve) Powelson of Faribault, Michael (Deb) Heselton of Faribault, Daniel (Kelly) Heselton of Lakeville, MN, and Patrick (Teresa) Heselton of Faribault; by his brother-in-law, Tim (Barb) Moreau of Mason City, Iowa; and by nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
John was preceded in death by his grandparents, Basil and Susan Heselton, and George Silkey; by his uncle, Roy Mahowald; by his aunt, Georgeanne (Gigi) Silkey; by his father and mother-in-law, Alford Jr. and Rehl Ann Moreau; and by his brother-in-law, Daniel Moreau.
We love you, Daddy, and can't wait to see you again.
