Jeffrey A. Malecha, age 46, a resident of Fredericksburg, VA and formerly of Faribault, died on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at VCU Medical Center as the result of a tragic accident.              Funeral services were held on Monday, March 29, 2010 at Ferry Farm Baptist Church in Fredericksburg, VA.              Memorials can be made to Ferry Farm Baptist Church Building Fund, 1 Westmoreland Drive, Fredericksburg, VA 22405.             Jeffrey Allen Malecha, the son of James and Phyllis (Rost) Malecha, was born on April 3, 1963 in Faribault, MN. Jeff graduated from Bethlehem Academy High School with the class of 1981. He was united in marriage to Julie Pierce on December 8, 1990. Jeff was an active member of Ferry Farm Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon and was on the building and grounds committee. He was employed with the Department of Justice, Bureau of Prisons and was also the co-owner of The Espresso Station in Colonial Beach, VA with his wife Julie.             Jeff is survived by his wife, Julie Malecha; by two daughters, Megan Malecha and Alexandra Malecha of Fredericksburg, VA; by his parents, James and Phyllis Malecha of Faribault; by two brothers James Malecha II and his wife Corinne of Lino Lakes, MN and Scott Malecha of Faribault; by two sisters, Sue Nasby and husband Michael of Northfield and Shelley Friesen and husband Gerald of Faribault; by his sister in law, Cindy Malecha of Faribault and by several nieces and nephews.             He was preceded in death by a sister in infancy, Melanie Malecha, his brother, Steve Malecha in 2001, his maternal grandparents, Leonard and Margaret Rost and his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Marie Malecha.
