Jeanann "Jean" Condon

Jeanann “Jean” Condon, age 80, of Faribault, MN, passed away unexpectedly on August 24, 2023, at her home.

Jeanann, the daughter of Donald and Florence (Bouchey) Gare, was born on November 14, 1942 in Faribault, MN.  She attended Faribault High School with the class of 1961.  On May 6, 1959 she was united in marriage to Lawrence Condon at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Faribault.  Jean worked at different businesses over the years including, McQuay’s, Hardee’s and Genova.  Jean also cleaned houses for many years and loved to provide daycare for her grandchildren.  Jean was an active member of Divine Mercy Catholic Church CCW and helped with funeral lunches for many years.  She loved to garden and work in her yard.  Jean and Larry enjoyed traveling and took many trips to the Cayman Islands.  They also camped up north at Little Boy Lake and in South Dakota at the Missouri River with their son.  For many years they took summer trips to Jelly Stone Park in Wisconsin with their grandchildren.

Jean is survived by her husband of 64 years, Lawrence Condon of Faribault, MN; by her children, James (Gladys) Condon of Plymouth, MN and their children, Parker, Evan, and Alyssa; Robert (Amy) Condon of Montrose, SD and their children, Cody, Katelyn, and Jenna; Christina Sobiech and Tim Crystal of Helena, MT and her children, Isabelle (Brian) Shepard and Vincent; Angela Heyer of Canton, GA, and her children, Dylan, Logan, Blake, and Brennan; and Jolene (Jason) Leet of Faribault, MN, and their children, Madelyn, Connor, and Alex; by great grandson, Theodore Shepard; by her faithful dog, Charlie; by her sisters, Janice Liverseed and Lorraine (Francis) Bultman, both of Faribault, MN and by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Florence Gare and by her brother-in-law, Raymond Liverseed.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 1, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church in Faribault with Fr. Cory Rohlfing officiating.  Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Faribault.

Visitation will be held at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and at the church on Friday for one hour prior to services.
