Jared Jones

Jared Jones, age 49 of Medford, MN passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Elysian, MN.

Jared Joseph, the son of William and Sharon (Kaatz) Jones was born on December 14, 1972 in Northfield, MN.  On March 13, 2019 he was united in marriage to Lynae Skoglund in Minneapolis, MN.  Jared had worked at Faribault Foods and was also a cabinet maker.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and woodworking.

He is survived by his wife, Lynae Jones of Medford, MN; by his son, Dustin Jones of Medford; by his father, William Jones of Northfield; by his mother, Sharon Nord of Northfield; by his siblings, Bill (Norma) Jones, Bobby (Sandi) Jones, Richard (Susan) Jones, Dennis Jones, Carol (Lonnie) Kuhns, Bob Erickson and Lisa Donkers and by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, May 23, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home in Faribault with Bernadette Tatge, Pastoral Minister at Divine Mercy Catholic Church officiating.

Memorial visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home.
