Janice Kay, the daughter of Jess and Vivian (Duma) Larson, was born on June 7, 1944 in Waseca. She attended Sacred Heart High School and graduated with the class of 1962. Jan then continued her education in Medical Secretarial School and on February 5, 1966, was united to her high school sweetheart, Dennis C. Schuller at the Church of the Sacred Heart. After her children were grown, Jan eventually returned to beauty school and enjoyed having a salon at her home. She and Dennis enjoyed the fun times of dancing together , playing golf at many golf clubs in the area, camping with the kids and boating. He unexpectedly preceded her in death on February 9, 1997.
All throughout her life, Jan was a devout catholic and enjoyed being a part of the Sacred Heart community. She also enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family, and especially enjoyed having her grandchildren over for sleepovers. Following health concerns, Jan moved to Keystone Communities in Mankato in 2008. She truly enjoyed participating in the many activities there, especially bingo.
Jan is survived by her children, Jeff (Wendy) Schuller of Janesville, Angela (Aaron) Storvick of Waseca, Scott (Corrine) Schuller of New Richland, and Becky (John) Fitzsimmons of Waseca; her seven grandchildren, Jamie Schuller, Ben Schuller, Hailey Schuller, Jacob Schuller, Mallory Storvick, Whitney Storvick, and Rachel Storvick; her brother, Gene (Judy) Larson of Hastings, and by many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, Dennis.
