Janice Bronstad-Peterson

Janice J. Bronstad-Peterson, age 50, of Brookings, SD passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2016.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville with Pastor Larry Griffin and Pastor Paul Muther officiating.

Memorial visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to services at the church on Tuesday.

Janice Joy, daughter or Loren and Arlene (Ozmun) Bronstad, was born on September 15, 1965 in Faribault, Minnesota. Shortly after kindergarten, her family moved to Wisconsin. They later moved back to Minnesota when Janice was about fifteen. She later met Jesse Kline and they had three children together. He passed away in July 1996. On January 2, 2004, she was united in marriage to Corwyn Peterson. Janice had a great sense of humor and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Janice is survived by her husband, Corwyn Peterson of Brookings, SD; sons, Jesse Kline (Ashlea Sell) of Slayton, MN and their children, Jesse, Jaxson, and Jaelynn Kline, Corey (Amanda) Kline of Marshall, MN and their children, Steven and Maci Kline, and Casey Kline of Marshall, MN and his children, Isaac, Parker, and Harlow Kline; step-sons, Nick Peterson (Desiree Gohr) of SD and his children, Carsyn and Carter, and Zach Peterson (Amber Nielsen) of SD and his children, Micah and EllyAnna; father, Loren Bronstad of Waseca; sisters, Judy (John) Wroblewski of Faribault, Joan Henry of Eagle Lake, Julie Bronstad of Barron, WI, Jeanne Bronstad of Waterville, and Nicole Ozmun of Janesville; brothers, Loren Bronstad Jr. of Rice Lake, WI, Larry (Pam) Bronstad of Rice Lake, WI, Lowell (Wendy) Bronstad of Janesville, Lloyd Bronstad of Marshall, Leonard (Tammi Mercie) of Tracy, Lester Bronstad of Janesville, and Lonnie (Niki) Bronstad of New Ulm; and by many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Arlene; Jesse Kline, the father of her children; niece, Sarah; and by her nephew, Lee.
