Jane Arlene Boudreau, the daughter of Everett and Marie (Tix) Boudreau, was born on October 31, 1944 in Northfield, Minnesota. She attended Bethlehem Academy in Faribault and graduated with the class of 1962. On September 9, 1967, Jane was united in marriage to Robert (Bob) Smisek at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Faribault. Jane worked at Sheldahl in Northfield and later retired after thirty eight years of employment. After retiring, she also worked at the Hy-Vee Gas in Faribault until health complications forced her to fully retire. Jane enjoyed being outside working in her flower beds, gardening, mowing the lawn, feeding the birds and ducks at her home on Wells Lake and going for walks. She also had a love for animals, especially her dogs and cats.

She is survived by her husband, Bob of Faribault; her daughters, Kerry (Brinton Bromley) Smisek of St. Paul and Kimberly (Tim Johnston) Smisek of Mankato; by her siblings, Diane (Ron) Olson of Dodge Center, Judith Boudreau of California, Della (Chuck) MeChura of Northfield, Jan (Gary) Nordseth and Jim (Lynda) Boudreau, both of Faribault; by her mother-in-law, Arlene Smisek of Faribault and by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her infant sister, Joyce.

Jane's family would like to give a special thank you to LeRoy and Shirley Rockman for being dedicated neighbors and supportive friends. Also, thank you to Betsy Carlin, Jan and Gary Nordseth, Jim and Lynda Boudreau, Judith Boudreau, Amy Selly and Jane's Hy-Vee family for their gracious support.
