James Hausen

James A. Hausen, age 75 of Faribault, MN, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at his home following an extended illness.

James Adrian, the son of Lawrence and Dorothy (Maas) Hausen was born on August 23, 1947 in Alameda, CA.  Their family would move to Faribault and Jim attended Bethlehem Academy High School and graduated with the class of 1965.  On October 26, 1974 he was united in marriage to Veronica Jeno in Faribault.  Jim worked for 35 years for the City of Faribault in the Water Department.  Jim enjoyed fishing the area lakes, working in his yard and keeping his lawn looking great and enjoyed having a cold beer with others.  Jim loved spending time with his family and especially with his grandsons.

He is survived by his wife Veronica Hausen of Faribault; by his children, Cory Hausen and fiancé, Jessica Assink of Effie, MN and Melanie Hausen of Faribault; by three grandsons, Raini Schultz, Camden Hausen and Brayden Hausen; by his siblings, Delores Caron of Faribault, David Hausen of Olathe, KS and Susan (Dan) Brewster of Faribault and by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his infant brother, James Hausen, his sister-in-law, Gloria Hausen and his brother-in-law, George Caron.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
