Jacob "Jake" Rodewald

Jacob “Jake” C. Rodewald, age 40, of Faribault, MN died on Monday, May 2, 2022 at his home.

Jacob Charles, the son of Donald “Butch” and Merry “Chris” (Smuda) Rodewald, was born on May 28, 1981 in St. Cloud, MN. Jake grew up on the family farm in Dundas. He loved spending time with the animals on the farm. He would spend as much time in nature as he could. He loved fishing and especially when he was fishing with his daughter.

Jacob is survived by his parents, Butch and Chris Rodewald; brother, Daniel Rodewald; daughter, Elee O’Hara; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Leo and Nancy Smuda and his paternal grandparents, Donald and Marion Rodewald.

Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at the Cathedral of Our Merciful Saviour with The Most Reverend James Zotalis officiating. Interment will be held at a later date.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Memorials preferred to Rescue 55021, Prairie’s Ridge Humane Society, or The Cathedral of Our Merciful Saviour.

Funeral arrangements are being completed by the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault.
