Irene Ozmun

Irene O. Ozmun, age 77, of Faribault, MN, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018, at the Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at the First English Lutheran Church in Faribault, with Rev. Janet White, officiating. Interment will be at the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park in Faribault.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the church.

Arrangements are with the Parker Kohl Funeral Home of Faribault.

Irene Olive was born on March 14, 1941 in Northfield, MN, to Henry and Olive I. (Hendrickson) Ozmun. Irene enjoyed visits to the store to visit with people. She cherished being with her large family and having the opportunity to hold the newborn babies. Irene lived for the past five years at the Cenneidigh Homes, where she felt cared for with great compassion.

She is survived by her siblings, Roger Ozmun, Maxine Voegele, Charles Ozmun, Jean (John) Hagenbrock, Charlotte Teske, Marcelle (Stan) Babcock, and Robert (Teresa) Ozmun, all of Faribault; sister-in-law, Linda Ozmun; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Olive; sisters, Marlys Ozmun and Arlene Bronstad; brother, Duane Ozmun; sister-in-law, Janet Ozmun; and brothers-in-law, Richard Voegele and Ronald Teske.
