Heidi Dube

Heidi A. Dube, age 42, of Owatonna, MN and formerly of Faribault, MN, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the new location of Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N., Faribault, with Jason Stricklin, officiating. Interment will be at the St. Lawrence Cemetery in Faribault.

Visitation will be held at Parker Kohl Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday for one hour prior to the services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to offset expenses.

Heidi Ann was born on July 24, 1975 in Faribault to Gregory and Susan (Hausen) Dube. She attended Faribault High School. Heidi worked as a teacher's assistant at Head Start Preschool in Owatonna, making an impact on many children. She ministered for many at the Hospitality House for homeless men and was deeply involved in music and youth ministry at Daybreak Church in Owatonna for many years. Heidi was a vibrant free spirit with a serving heart. She battled the challenges in life that came with addiction. Even through her darkest times of addiction, Heidi found the strength to help others when they needed her. She often had the ability to make others around her feel special. After many good years, unfortunately events in her life left her sad, and the ugly addiction returned. The Heidi we know would want her legacy to make a difference in the lives of others.

She is survived by her children, Nicholas Lawrence Dube and Lexi Rosemarie Dube; adopted twins, Brandon Ryan and Brianna Maria and their mother (Heidi's cousin), Angela and their father, Klaus; parents, Susan (Daniel) Brewster and Greg (Donna) Dube; sister, Jessica Dube; nieces, Natasha (Tanner) & Hazel, Liliana, and Aubrey; close family friend, Chuck Hoeppner; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Dorothy Hausen, and paternal grandparents, Robert and Patricia Dube.
