Harold Lamberty

Harold R. Lamberty age 102, of Faribault, MN, passed away Thursday, September 21, 2017 at the Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 25, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive, Faribault. Interment will be at the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park in Faribault with military honors provided by the Rice County Central Veterans Association.

Memorial visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the church.

Arrangements are with the Parker Kohl Funeral Home & Crematory of Faribault.

Harold Raymond was born on July 9, 1915 in Faribault to Albin and Mary (Friesen) Lamberty. He attended Faribault High School and served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Harold was united in marriage to Jane Nichols on November 2, 1946 in Owatonna, MN. He worked numerous jobs prior to working for the U.S. Postal Service for 20 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 43 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1562. Harold's daily routine was to go for a walk and have a beer. He was faithful and dedicated to his church, praying the Rosary often. Harold loved his family and was always involved in the family events.

He is survived by his wife, Jane Lamberty of Faribault; children, Patricia Kruger of Plymouth, MN, David (Judy) Bauer of Tampa, FL, and Kathleen (Gregory) Monahan of Andover, MN; eight grandchildren, Mark (Kary) Kruger, Kristin Kruger, Lee (Kim) Kruger, Brenda Matthysse, Mary Jane (Mark) Lynch, Nathan (Brittany) Monahan, Katie (Nate) Dungey, and Tim (Keely) Monahan; 14 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albin and Mary; son, Dale Lamberty; grandson, Bradley Bauer; three sisters, Helen McGuiness, Genevieve McIntire, and Irene Swanson; and son-in-law, Bruce Kruger.

Memorials may be designated to the Divine Mercy Catholic Church or Rice County Central Veterans Association in memory of Harold.
